USTA Tallahassee Tennis Challenger

What
USTA Tallahassee Tennis Challenger is a men’s professional Challenger series event. This tournament benefits the D. Mark Vogter, M.D. Memorial Endowment for the Neuro-Intensive Care and the Sharon Ewing Walker Breast Health Center at Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare.

When
Saturday, April 17 through Saturday, April 24, 2010. Finals will be at 12:00 noon.
Pre-Qualifier:  FAMU Wild Card Tournament, April 12-14, 2010

Main Draw: Monday, April 19 through Saturday, April 24, 2010.
There will be 2 feature matches every evening from April 19-23 beginning after
5:30 pm on Stadium Court.

The tournament will take place at the City of Tallahassee’s Forestmeadows Tennis Complex.  4750 North Meridian Road, Tallahassee, FL 32312

How
The Singles and Doubles Qualifier tournament will begin Saturday, April 17 and conclude Sunday, April 18. The main draw will begin on Monday, April 19 and will include a 32-player singles draw and a 16-player doubles draw. The final for both the singles and doubles will be on Saturday, April 24, 2010. Players from all over the world, including several former top 50 players and some of the top doubles players in the world will play in the tournament.

Tickets can be purchased beginning April 1 at the Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare Foundation located at 1331 E. 6^th Avenue, 850-431-5389 or Tennis Courture at 206 E. 6^th Avenue, 850-576-8372.  The cost for tickets are as follows:  April 19-21 $5 daily donation requested; April 22-24, a $10 daily donation requested.  A Tournament Pass can be purchased for a $30 donation.  VIP Sponsorships are available starting at $250.  To become a sponsor, call Maria Yealdhall at 850-933-6580 or TMH Foundation at 850-431-5389.
